Buy-to-let policy
At least one customer must have been an owner occupier for 6 months before application unless one of the following exceptions apply:
- The application is for a remortgage of an existing BTL (or residential with CTL in place)
- The application is for a portfolio landlord
- One or more of the customers has an existing BTL mortgage (or residential with CTL in place) with Virgin Money
- One or more of the customers lives in tied accommodation
