1. Who can enter?

  • You need to be a resident in the UK and a mortgage intermediary registered on the Virgin Money or Clydesdale Bank panel.
  • Sorry, Clydesdale Bank PLC employees and contractors can’t enter.
  • Excludes anyone directly involved in the running of the Prize Draw.
  • Entrants must ensure they have permission from any employer to participate in this Prize Draw, before entering.

2. When can you enter?

  • You can enter any time between 9am on 7 February 2024 and closes 5pm on 29 March 2024.

3. How do you enter?

  • You’ll be automatically entered into the Prize Draw by submitting feedback to Virgin Money through intermediaries.virginmoney.com/prizes/ during the entry period.
  • Only feedback submitted to Virgin Money through intermediaries.virginmoney.com/prizes/ and received by Virgin Money within the entry period will result in entry to the Prize Draw.
  • Any feedback submitted to Virgin Money by any method other than by through intermediaries.virginmoney.com/prizes/, or received outside of the entry period, will not result in entry into the Prize Draw.
  • Virgin Money accepts no responsibility for any failure to submit any feedback through intermediaries.virginmoney.com/prizes/ correctly or at all.
  • You can’t enter on behalf of someone else.
  • You can only enter this Prize Draw once. Where this Prize Draw forms part of a series of prize draws, entry into this Prize Draw won’t restrict ability to enter any other.

4. How will the winners be chosen?

  • The winner will be drawn within 2 weeks of the Prize Draw closing.
  • We’ll choose winners on a random basis by a computer process.
  • There will be a re-draw if the winner doesn’t respond within 10 days of being contacted or, when eligibility is being verified, is found not to have met the entry criteria set out in these Terms.

5. What is the prize?

  • There is one prize of 1,500,000 Virgin Points, which is enough Virgin Points to book a 2024 one week stay at the Virgin Limited Edition Mahali Mzuri safari camp. This is based on two people sharing a luxury tent for seven nights, including a return transfer from Olare Orok airstrip to the resort, all meals and drinks (including alcoholic beverages) at the resort as well as twice-daily game drives. Other extras such as spa treatments are not included in the package described and would need to be booked and paid for separately by the winner.
  • Virgin Points are also redeemable for KLM flights from the UK to Kenya. Should the winner choose to book international flights with the points, they would be required to arrange and pay for their internal transfers to Olare Orok airstrip in Kenya.

Prize Detail

  • The winner will get 1,500,000 Virgin Points to be redeemed through Virgin Red.
  • The winner can choose to spend the Virgin Points on any rewards available through the Virgin Red programme.
  • The Virgin Points value required for this stay is 1,120,000 based on Virgin Red redemption values as at 5 February 2024. The points value required for the stay at Mahali Mzuri described in these Terms is subject to change by Virgin Red.
  • Please note that stays with Mahali Mzuri are subject to availability and stays using Virgin Points are only possible during 07.01.2024-14.06.2024 and 01.11.2024-19.12.2024. We strongly recommend booking quickly to avoid disappointment.
  • The winner will need to be a member of Virgin Red to receive and spend the Virgin Points. It’s quick and easy to sign-up and it’s totally free. Head to Virgin Red to join now. Virgin Red membership is subject to its own terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.virgin.com/virgin-red/terms-and-conditions.
  • Virgin Points can be redeemed over the whole KLM flight network to book flights from the UK to Kenya. Redemption flights will be subject to Virgin Red terms and conditions and availability and you may still have to pay taxes, fees or surcharges. Details of how to redeem Virgin Points for flights, and applicable terms and conditions, can be found here.
  • The winner will be issued with a Virgin Red voucher code via email with instructions to allow them to claim their Virgin Points. The winner will have 12 months to redeem the voucher code and add the Virgin Points to their Virgin Red account. Once added, there is no expiry date on the Virgin Points.
  • A full list of how to spend the Virgin Points can be found at Virgin Red. Individual offers through Virgin Red may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
  • The winner will be responsible for redeeming their Virgin Points, including using them to book a stay at Mahali Mzuri or using them to book flights.
  • The prize also does not cover purchase of any travel insurance. If the winner chooses to use the Virgin Points for a holiday, we strongly recommend that a suitable travel insurance policy is taken out.
  • The prize can’t be changed for anything else, including cash.
  • The winner will be responsible for meeting any additional costs associated with their prize.
  • Tax liability may arise for the winner as a result of taking up the prize. Likelihood of liability will depend on a number of factors including the employment and tax status of the winner.

6. How do you know if you have won?

  • We’ll email or phone the winner to tell them they’ve won. We’ll tell the winner by 15 April 2024.
  • We’ll send the prize to the winner by 30 April 2024.

7. What else do you need to know?

  • We’ll use your personal information to help us run the Prize Draw. You can find out more about how we use your personal information at https://intermediaries.virginmoney.com/privacy/.
  • Although we’ll be working closely with our friends at Virgin Red, we aren't responsible for their terms, their offers or any marketing on their websites. Just get in touch with them if you have any queries or concerns about any of these things.
  • Other entrants can ask us for the winner’s surname and the county where they live, by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: 2024 Broker Prize Draw, Virgin Money, Jubilee House, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 4PL. The winner agrees that we can tell other entrants or the Advertising Standards Authority these details, if asked. If the winner has concerns about this, they can get in touch with us to discuss.
  • We'll ask the winner to agree to us sharing their story on our social channels.
  • English law applies to this Prize Draw.
  • If something goes wrong, we’ll try to fix it. If we can’t because it’s something we can’t reasonably control, or it’s not our fault, then we may have to make changes to this Prize Draw. This includes suspending or ending it early. We can make such changes without giving you notice. However, we’ll try our best to avoid making changes. And we’ll try to minimise any disappointment to you when we make changes.
  • On the odd occasion, disputes happen in relation to prize draws. We really hope to avoid them! If any problems come up, we will try to resolve them quickly. We’ll make the final decision in relation to any issues relating to the running of this Prize Draw.
  • You can opt-out of the prize draw at anytime by sending an email to MortgagesMarketing@virginmoney.com.
