Buy-to-let policy
We no longer offer new buy-to-let lending. If your client wants to let out their current home and has a residential mortgage with Virgin Money, they can apply for a consent to let.
Alternatively, they may be able to:
- port their existing residential mortgage to a new property; and
- take out a buy-to-let mortgage on the current property with another lender.
Both transactions must be done at the same time.
