We’ve launched new Greener Mortgages for customers purchasing energy-efficient new build homes.
Our Greener Mortgages give customers access to a range of new build products that are priced at 0.10% lower than our equivalent core products.
Greener Mortgages - New Build Deals
Help to Buy Equity Loans
These purchase deals come with £300 cashback for residential applications and £500 cashback for Help to Buy applications. A £995 fee applies.
To qualify, customers must be purchasing a new build residential home with a certified or predicted energy rating of A or B. This will be evidenced by an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), a Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) or a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) calculation.

A brighter future
We’ve partnered up with Carbon Neutral Britain and for every Greener Mortgage that completes, we will fund environmental projects, such as the development of wind, solar and hydro renewable energy. The funding will offset the equivalent of the average UK home’s carbon emissions for an entire year*.
Together, we’re also aiming to plant 100,000 trees from the sale of our Greener Mortgages.
